What is the importance of choosing a passionate niche?

Although it is not one of the absolutely critical niche validation criteria, considering whether customers can be passionate for your products can make marketing and selling your products easier. 

This advantage will become more pronounced further down the line when you are more focused on content marketing (blogs/emails etc). With a passionate market, you can speak their language and really play on the exciting nature of the products and their passion surrounding the products.

To summarise, you don't need to make it an absolute necessity. However, if you are choosing between two niches that are evenly matched but one does not have a passionate market (e.g. washing machines), you should go with the other one!
