Google has notified me that my campaigns are limited by budget. Should I increase my budget?

Google will frequently inform you that your campaign is limited by budget but you should keep in mind that Google is incentivised to make you increase your budget as much as possible.

If your ad campaigns are profitable and you are achieving your target ROAS over a prolonged length of time, theoretically you should scale your ad budget as much as possible while your campaign is profitable. This will ensure that you can scale your business as fas as possible and earn more while you invest more into your marketing campaigns.

If your campaign is not reaching your target ROAS or if you have not allowed your campaign to run for 30/40 days already, it may not be best to increase your budget just yet. To review a statistically significant amount of data, you must allow Google to go through the initial learning phase and wait 30-40 days. Then you can look at your results knowing that you can more heavily rely on the data. If you are not reaching your target ROAS it would be worth reading the related FAQ article titled, 'my campaign is not achieving my target ROAS. What should I do?'.

Remember that you should set your daily budget at a level that you are comfortable with and then once your campaign is achieving a consistent profitable ROAS, then you should consider increasing your budget.
