Do I need to enter a returns address in my return policy?
The short answer is no. As you most likely do not want to receive any returns to your home address then we would not advise that you enter your address or your business address on your return policy. If you do this then customers may arrange the return delivery before notifying you and then expect you to refund them when the return arrives.
Instead, you do not need to enter a returns address on your return policy. Just ensure that you have an email address on your policy to inform customers to contact you to discuss a return.
You can even set up an alias email address such as - returns@yourdomain.com - for customers to use for any returns.
Then when customers get in touch regarding a return you can make sure they meet your return policy and if so, email them the correct return address following your supplier's direction.
