When I sign a new supplier after completing week 5, how do I make sure the new products are added to my marketing campaigns?

Congrats for continuing to sign new suppliers after you have your marketing campaigns live already. Signing new suppliers is one of the most high value tasks you can complete as you continue to grow your business.

Once you have uploaded their products onto your Shopify store, you will need to check that they are all being added to your marketing campaigns straight away.

To do this, go into your Google Merchant Center account. Then click on the products menu in the left hand tab. Then go to 'All Products'.

Then this will bring up all of the products that have been transferred from your Shopify store to your Google Merchant Center account by the Simprosys Google Shopping Feed app.

To find the new products that you have recently added, click the funnel icon to the top right of the table to filter your results. You will then be able to filter by brand so you can select the new brand that you have recently added and then all available products should appear.

If they are not there then first you should wait 24 hours after uploading your products because it can take some time for your new products to be added successfully to your Merchant Center account.

If they are not appearing you may need to set up a new Merchant Center feed rule as shown within the course. To do this, go to the Products tab in the left hand menu of your Merchant Center account again. Then click on Feeds. Then click on the Content API under your primary feed. Then go to the Feed Rules and create another 'custom label 0' or 'custom label 1'. Complete this process to add a new feed rule as shown in the course. This also enables you to then separate your Google Ad data by your custom labels.

Once they are appearing in your Merchant Center account, you can then check that they are also in your Google Ads account. If they are also in there successfully, you will soon see impressions for your new products which means they are being viewed by customers as expected!
