How to ensure I have entered the correct policy details in my Google Merchant Center account?

When setting up your Google Merchant Center account, you will just need to enter what your standard return policy is. If you have already created your return policy in your Shopify policy menu, you will just need to mirror this in your GMC account. To find out what your return policy will be, the best way to find out if to check your suppliers/direct competitors policies.

To enter your return policy into your GMC account, go to the Tools and Settings menu (Cog Icon) > Delivery and Returns > Returns tab.

Then scroll the section called 'Your return policies' and click + Add Return Policy.

Then go through and fill in the details of your return policy by completing each required field.

When you go through each field, keep in mind that the standard return duration that suppliers allow is 14 days and they will only accept the return if the product is in 'New' condition still.
