How to exclude accessory products from my Google Ad campaigns?

You may wish to exclude your cheaper / accessory products from your Google Ad campaigns if the profit from each order is not sufficient to warrant investing any money into the marketing of these products.

To ensure these products are excluded from your PPC campaign, you can create automated rules within your 'Simprosys Google Shopping Feed' Shopify app. 

Navigate to your app then click on the Settings tab along the header navigation bar. This will open a drop down menu. Then choose 'Automated Rules For Feed'.

Then you can click the + to create a new automated rule and choose '+ Excluded Destination' > 'Add Rule'.

You can then choose which category of products you want to exclude. To exclude your accessory products, choose 'Product Type' contains 'Accessories'. This will mean that your automated rule will be assigned to whichever products you have assigned the product type 'Accessories' to. 

Then choose the destinations where you want these products to be excluded from and then 'OK' to save your preferences.

You can also exclude by product price. For example if you want to exclude all products listed for less than £200, you should choose 'Price' is less than '200' as shown in the example screenshot below.
