The Facebook Business Suite has changed layout and I am struggling to navigate?

Facebook (like Google) are constantly iterating and improving their interface for a more seamless user experience. This means that the layout of their products such as Facebook Business Suite, Ads Manager and Business Settings, are frequently changing. 

It will take some to explore their new layout before you feel familiar and able to locate the sections shown in the program videos. It will be well worth the time invested to explore the navigation until you feel confident to find the sections that are required for the set up.

Here are some useful links and a rough structure to help you to navigate the Facebook Business Suite.


Facebook / Meta Structure

Meta Business Suite (Your Homepage) - https://business.facebook.com

Business Settings:
Use this link - https://business.facebook.com/settings
OR navigate from the Business Suite > Settings > Business Settings

Ads Manager (once Ad Account live) - https://business.facebook.com/adsmanager
OR navigate from the Business Suite > All Tools > Ads Manager

To view the ad accounts associated with your Business account:
Business Suite > Settings > Business Assets > Ad Accounts tab

Week 3 Business Fundamentals Cheat Sheet

Video 21 ‘Setting up a Facebook Page’

  • Start at Facebook Business Suite and create account
  • Access Business Settings > Business Info and ensure all correct
  • Create Page to link with Business Manager Account
    • Business Settings > Accounts > Pages
    • Follow program guidance to create page and assign people to the page


Week 5 - Module 5.4 Remarketing Unlocked Cheat Sheet

Video 1 - Facebook Pixel Setup

  • Start by creating an ad accountBusiness Settings > Accounts > Ad Accounts > +Add New Ad Account
  • Then work on setting up the Pixel

Business Settings > Data Sources > Pixels > Add PixelSet up Pixel with program guidance

Add People to Pixel and give full access to Pixels

Add a ‘Connected Asset’ - Connect Ad Account to Pixel as well

  • Open Pixel in Events Manager to enable further data collection
  • Continue with Shopify + FB Pixel set up

Shopify > Online Store > Preferences > Facebook Pixel

Connect Facebook Account
Connect Business Assets (Facebook & IG Page, Business/Ad Account)
Connect Pixel that has just been created

Check for correct connection in the Settings Tab > Data Sharing Settings
Make sure you choose the pixel that you have just created.


Video 2 - Facebook Product Catalogue

  • Add catalogue to Facebook Commerce Manager
  • Connect Catalogue to Simprosys App

Video 3 - Facebook Campaign Creation

  • Ensure pixel is connected to catalogue in Commerce Manager
