My Google Ads account has been suspended due to 'Suspicious Payment Activity'. How to get the suspension lifted?

If your Google ads account has been suspended and you have been notified that it is due to 'Suspicious Payment Activity', this quickly tells you that you need to double check the payment information that you have provided to Google.

Then to get your account suspension lifted, you should keep a record of changes you make to your payment information linked with your Google account.

When you are ready to make an appeal, make sure that your appeal has documentation and tells an ordered story of what happened. Think carefully what evidence they might want to see, either upload proof of your bank statement to your appeal or by emailing to ads-support@google.com. Detail as much as you can and always be polite.

You can also make a payment to google ads (e.g. £400) to prove that you are serious and to credit the account, attach proof of that payment as well.

You can also use one of the following websites to log on to a live chat.

When in contact with Google support, explain your situation thoroughly and ask for advice for how to rectify the situation and ensure that the suspension is lifted.

Remember persistence and patience may be required!
