How do I make delivery times clear to customers?
To be really clear with your customers about delivery timeframes, firstly have a very generic line in your store's delivery & returns page to say that - "Delivery times will vary depending on the brand of product ordered. Please refer to individual product pages for accurate delivery info".
Then on your product pages have a line on every product that gives an estimated delivery time frame. There are a couple of methods of doing this:
1) Manually enter the delivery timeframe in the product description of every product.
2) Install an app such as 'Estimated Delivery Date: Boost' and enter the estimated delivery dates for each supplier. The app will then display the estimated delivery times on your product page and thank you page.
Just make sure you ask your suppliers what their expected delivery timeframe is when you get them on board.
After you receive an order, your supplier will give you the tracking number which you can pass on to the customer so they are kept informed.
